(At least I stayed sober for the Sugar Bowl, which was ostensibly the reason we were there. Penn State's first national championship -- whoo!)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11920826.post-1141156819323880412006-02-28T15:00:00.000-05:002006-02-28T15:00:00.000-05:00I never got a chance to be in New Orleans for Mard...I never got a chance to be in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. *sigh* However, I've done my share of bead accumulation over the years ;)

*flash*paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14839029982074101175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11920826.post-1141141130614136362006-02-28T10:38:00.000-05:002006-02-28T10:38:00.000-05:00One of the things I would love to do is experience...One of the things I would love to do is experience New Orleans during Mardi Gras. People act differently when cameras are on. When I was there, I saw no public boobie flashing. Much to my disappointment.

As I said in the post, it was way more family friendly, at least during the day, than I expected. The beads at the parades were mostly for little kids. "Throw me something, mister." My wife did get bead-frenzy and I had to make her let the rugrats have a chance.yellojkthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09592683505688819187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11920826.post-1141098764642953752006-02-27T22:52:00.000-05:002006-02-27T22:52:00.000-05:00Certainly sounds like you had a blast. I never asked what she did to get them. :)Mooselethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16874418427786990740noreply@blogger.com
