It started out simply as a trade school teaching engineering. When the University System of Georgia instituted a Technology (read engineering) based school, they chose the North Avenue Trade School as the location, instead of co-locating it with the University of Georgia. What does it have over MIT? Compare Cambridge/Atlanta in January.
