No nice way to say it. The people who go there as tourists and locals are cheap bastards who ask for a discount on a .75 cent starfish. Thank God I don't have the shop anymore.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11920826.post-66504713300435931562007-07-17T18:37:00.000-04:002007-07-17T18:37:00.000-04:00I love, love, LOVE Tarpon Springs. I don't know why I thought this, but I was under the impression that Pappas was closed down?

The thing that sucks about Tarpon Springs nowadays is that they got an assload of money after the hurricanes blew through a few years back, and now all the old, dark, creaky-wooden-floored gift shops have ceramic tiles and are well-lit. Ecch. Except for Spongeorama! Hurray for the cheesy dioramas! In the dark! Push the button and watch the oar spin in the barrel!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11920826.post-37574967607090703712007-07-17T11:33:00.000-04:002007-07-17T11:33:00.000-04:00I love Nome, Alaska. I like the daggy old beach at Bribie Island. Everyone looks at me like I'm insane, but I just love it. Never too crowded, nice fish-n-chips shop nearby and closer to home than any of the other aforementioned beaches. How can one go wrong?

Whenever I read about sea sponges I cannot help but think of Spongebob Squarepant.Mooselethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16874418427786990740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11920826.post-26064296542919157932007-07-16T12:44:00.000-04:002007-07-16T12:44:00.000-04:00I had my wedding at the Hat and Boots in Georgetow...I had my wedding at the Hat and Boots in Georgetown.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11920826.post-62063187137514097732007-07-16T12:16:00.000-04:002007-07-16T12:16:00.000-04:00Sponges are interesting to me believe it or not. On the other hand, they have no brains, circulatory or nervous systems so it's not like they suffer or anything.
