Meme Week Wrap-Up

Post Seven (and last one) of Meme Week.

I wanted to end Meme Week with a bang. I didn’t know whether I wanted to start my own meme or find the ultimate meme. Instead I ended up finding this meme spoof from a blog called Topic Drift.

  • What is your full name?
  • What is your date of birth?
  • What four cities have you lived in?
  • What four TV shows do you love?
  • What four credit cards do you currently use?
  • What are four credit account numbers assigned you, and when (month/year) do they expire?
  • Do you have four credit card pin numbers, and if so, what are they?
  • What does your mother's maiden name look like if you type it four times in a row?
  • What are the first four digits of your social security number?
  • What are the last four digits of your social security number?
  • What number did you leave out of your nine-digit social security number? (That's your lucky number!)
  • What are the first four lines of your mailing address?
  • What are your four favorite banks?
  • What are your four favorite bean dishes?
  • What four people do you wish to tag with this meme?

So many memes ask unusually personal questions. One of the conceits of blogging is that you are putting out very personal stuff about yourself and not everybody out there is honest or scrupulous.

Now that I have driven off all my regular readers and commenters with this endless parade of memes, I will return to my regular random ramblings with my next post. Until then, I am experimenting with some polls for another series of posts that I will be inflicting a little later. Please answer each of these polls so that I can track which free poll hosting service works best.

When would you like to see another Meme Week?
As soon as possible. Im going to do one now.
In another couple of months. Wait until you have some good ones saved up.
This time next year. Make it an annual event.
Once was too often.

Wow - that's quite the personal information in a meme... LOL! Hilarious! Makes you wonder how many people will actually be dumb enough to answer the questions....

I forgot to mention in my previous comment that Michelle sent me..........

Here from Michele's. I think I got the voting wrong. Forgive me if I have. I think me me's are fine if you want to do them. I personally don't so don't expect others to do them unless they have a burning desire.
The reason I don't like to do them is my blog is my life story and I feel that is qute enough about me.

I must have won because I picked the two most common answers. Do you have the meme thing out of your system now? I'll scroll down and see if I see any good ones. My main problem with them is that the questions can get repetative. Does michele do memes? She sent me.

That spoof is a big chuckle. Glad Michele sent me over to see it.

What's with the snapping thing everytime I hover over a link?

I like the spoof meme. I'm thinking about posting it with real answers. I mean how much harm could it possibly do? Seriously.

Gaah. One of the quizly things blasted a John McCain ad at me when I answered it. Surge this, ya crazy old Republican coot.

h-man,
It's a new blog plug-in I got that seems to be a little hyperactive. I may have to dial it back a little.

2fs,
Let me know which poll did it. I have my pop-up blocker on, so I never noticed.

But will you have cool ads like the Discovery Channel has with Shark Week?

Sorry, I can't remember which one it was.
